The southern part of the Site has since been demolished. To the north side is currently occupied by the Compass School who are due to move into their new secondary school North of the proposed development. The surrounding area is largely characterised by low-rise residential buildings together with taller seven-storey residential blocks. The redevelopment will be designed around creating bold green parks for the community and provide 1,418 residential units with the addition of a new school, communal amenity space and transport servicing routes as well as pedestrian routes.
